WooHoo!! We had our fist snow day today. Once the snow starts falling, I turn into a child again. I will sit in front of the television watching, waiting, hoping and praying that my school's name will pop up on the screen. I'm not sure why I do this, they always call all of the teachers before calling the news channels. But there is just something so exciting about having an extra day off of work. I got some work done around the house, but also relaxed and enjoyed myself.
I love holidays! But every year, around October, I begin thinking about and planning for the holidays. Each year I tell my self that I am going to get things done early this year. I plan to get ahead and stay there. I hope to get organized in hopes that by the time Thanksgiving and Christmas arrive, I can sit back and enjoy the holidays. But, here I am, December 15, and I feel so far behind. I have hundreds of things to do around the house. Our weekends are jam packed up through New Years. I love spending the time with friend and family, but I feel so rushed. Christmas break starts this Friday. I hope to get a lot done during my free time. Maybe next year I'll have all my ducks in a row, so to speak.
